Speak No Evil is the sixth album by Wayne Shorter, recorded on December 24th,1964 at the Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, and released from Blue Note in 1966. The music combines elements of hard bop and modal jazz. The cover shows Wayne Shorter's first wife, Teruka (Irene) Nakagami, whom he met in 1961.
