They were initially, on their first releases in the early 1980s, called Vicious Pink Phenomena. They never released a full-length album, but enjoyed some modest chart success with their singles 'Cccan't You See' (1984) and 8:15 To Nowhere' (1988), before calling it a day. In their early days, Vicious Pink provided backing vocals and noises on Soft Cell's Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret LP (1981).
