Growing up watching his Dad, Jimmy Faulks, follow his musical dreams, activated a deep appreciation for music and song writing within Vance at an early age. At the age of 7, Vance remembers arguing vehemently when his Dad changed the words to one of the songs they were recording to fit another artist. It was this commitment to the music and the song that has marked Vance's life up thru today.
