Before the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nick Zinner and Karen O wrote and recorded a bunch of acoustic tracks which were pressed in very limited numbers. One such track 'Year To Be Hated' went on to become the YYYs track 'Our Time', and was included on the compilation cd 'Yes New York' in 2003, the first (and last) many people heard of Unitard. The songs are generally recorded with two acoustic guitars, one played with slide and the other playing open chords.
