It's no secret that Underscore Research is heavily influenced by critically and commercially reknowned electronic music pioneers, The Orb. The Orb's classic, 'Towers of Dub' was a strong reference point on 'Dubbing with the Bits', drawing heavily on the multi-layered dub chord elements employed by The Orb on live versions of the track.
