Twisted Pear was formed in the summer of 1996 by two technicians who shared the same passion for music. Derek Mason was born in Burton upon Trent, England. He learnt to play the piano at an early age and has been writing and performing music ever since. Alan Hoose was born in Staffordshire, England, and since leaving school became a Computer Technician.
