Born out of the experimental potential of digital music in general, Twelve Inch Voices came to being in the summer of 2004. While studying Music in Los Angeles, when Niles discovered the sound design and production of Brian Eno, Steve Reich, Alan Parsons, Daniel Lanois, among others. After the suggestion of a band name from a friend, Twelve Inch Voices was created as an avenue for experimenting with digital/electronic music, visual design, ambient video art and the intersection of the three.
