“7am in Ohio” is the triumphant introduction of Trippie Redd’s surprise mixtape, Saint Michael. His straightforward attitude reflects his rise from the streets of Ohio to one of rap’s best. The title specifically draws inspiration from Drake’s “timestamp series”, which was debuted in 2010. Trippie’s twist on the title places him at his hometown of Ohio, rather than the likes of Charlotte, North Carolina or Toronto, Canada.
