The word Tomorrow People means (according to our perception for the band and the music itself) ..to always look ahead without neglecting the past.. And the word ensemble means a group of musicians playing or singing together. The guys held onto their various side-gigs and all four continued to work with other artists and groups (still do in fact) but the quartet was un-derivative, un-jazz and unlike anything they had ever experienced before.
