Tom Rust was born in Urmston, Manchester in the mid/late 60's. Played alto and then later tenor saxophone with A.O.M youth show band from the age of 13 to 17 years of age. This is where he found his love of big band music. His long standing collaborations with Malcome Edmonstone pay tribute to this era and have been critically acclaimed.
