Tim started to play the guitar when he was 14 and was hooked from the start. With the help from his guitar teacher Phil Rowland he became more determined to write his own songs and perform them. After a few years writing songs, Tim formed a band in late October 2009 under the name "Timothy Leat And The Runnng" and started with a successful first gig coming 2nd in the 3rd heat of the Ultimate Bands Contest.
