Time of Wolves was formed in October 2007 when Dylan Wood, a drummer from Long Beach, began recording his one man band songs. Dylan had been on the Long Beach scene for a while, including playing in The Repeat Offenders, Monogram and Return to Radio. With the breakup of Return to Radio in the fall of 2008, Dylan began to focus again on Time of Wolves. In early 2009, Sheridan Riley (drummer of Avi Buffalo) and Elise Ewoldt joined Dylan, forming a trio and making live shows a possibility.
