It wasn't until after finishing this album that I realized what it was. A transition. For six years I chased a dream, and caught it, only to find out I was chasing a nightmare disguised as a sunset. In the fall of 2009 I woke up from that dream, had a cup of coffee and started dreaming a different dream. 'Why We're Here' is my emotional transition from one dream to the next, from the sadness of leaving behind a life I thought I would have, to the hope in an unknown yet adventurous future. These are my personal thoughts and feelings. Let living begin.
