Buffalo, NY's THIS IS AN EMPIRE was founded in 2007 with the desire to create something new. The band wasted no time, writing and recording countless songs, embarking on a nationwide tour, and building a rapid hometown following within months of incorporating. The four-piece entered the studio in July 2009 with producer Casey Bates (Chiodos, Portugal The Man), emerging with an overpowering set of songs fusing electro, pop, and rock and roll. The band debuts its new sound with its freshman release, Wholly, available worldwide on iTunes May 18th.
