Formed in the late 90's, The Ziggurat has strived to delve into the darkest corners of man's fear and bring the horrors found there to life through the power of Heavy Metal. Lyrics being based in Theology, Lovecraftian Tales, Horror and the Occult. The group originally began led by members Dwayne Boyd (vocals, guitars), Sterling Boyd Jr. (drums), and Brad Schoeneman (bass). After Schoeneman departed, the band continued on with the Boyd brothers. Chris Hoff joined the band on bass and Matt Waldenville joined as a guitarist. Hoff died in 2021.
