The Wax Girl is a Canadian Post-Rock project founded by Toronto-based producer and composer Alex Wright in 2012. In January of 2012, Wright began writing and recording cinematic, shoegaze-esque demos in his makeshift home studio. During this time, Wright came up with a moniker for his demos by rearranging the letters of his name to spell out the words ‘The Wax Girl’.
