The VU was a band formed in 1985. The founder, Ross Valory, is known as the bass player for Journey. Along with Valory, Kevin Chalfant (The Storm, 707) was the lead vocalist. The band was mostly a side project for Ross Valory until Journey produced another record. After the new Journey album was released, Ross Valory put the VU on hold. Their only album was produced in 1985, but was not released until 2000.
