The Ventriloquist Mute was born from a top secret government experiment that was meant to test the feasibility of organically amplifying human vocal cords for sonic weaponry. Although the concept was successfully implemented, the long term effects were not fully anticipated: over time the Ventriloquist's vocal cords were left irreversibly damaged. To communicate, the Ventriloquist must now utilize the voice of others: a veritable puppeteer of sorts, expressing his unvocalized frustration, sorrow, joy, and anger through his music.
