THE VELVET formed on October 13th of 2002, following the break-up of Velvet Eden that same year. The members MiMi (bass), Bera (guitar), and Lem (drums) acquired a new vocalist, Reina, in order to continue activities as a new band. From October 2002 onward, THE VELVET were very active. They released their first album and maxi-single and had many lives, including one-man lives and band-sponsored events.
