The Complete Matrix Tapes is a live box set by the New York City-based band The Velvet Underground, consisting of a series of recordings of the Lou Reed-Sterling Morrison-Doug Yule-Maureen Tucker lineup of the band made in 1969, and released in 2015 after substantial remixing and remastering. The set has been praised both for the quality of its performances and for its sound fidelity.
