The Susan Tedeschi Band was formed in 1993 by American singer and guitarist Susan Tedeschi with Adrienne Hayes (guitar, rhythm guitar, slide guitar), Jim Lamond (bass) and Mike Aiello (drums). In December 1995, the band released "Better Days" to regional US audiences. Recording sessions during 1997, produced by Tom Hambridge, were acquired by Richard Rosenblatt for his indie label Tone-Cool Records. The resulting album, "Just Won't Burn", was released in February 1998 under the sole name of Susan Tedeschi.
