Biography "The Seventh Season" was originally formed in 1972 by Yuri Batygin, who was then a first-year student in the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute in Russia. The band found a renewed life in in 1998, when Yuri's son, Konstantin, joined the band. He is a Caltech graduate student at Caltech's Division of Geological and Planetary Sciences (GPS).
