Ohio's "The Rubes", play a convincing brand of 70s influenced rock, on their debut CD, "Hokum". Recorded in just 2 days in September of '01, this is a remarkably polished disc. Vocalist William Mace, has a great set of pipes for this type of Near- Stoner-Rock music.
