There are at least two bands called The Resistors. 1. The Resistors from West London, United Kingdom, started in 2006-2007 when Karl and Ed began writing and recording the project in their studio. It didn't take long for them to recruit friends Geoff and Seb to take the band live. Previously, Ed and Karl had been in Elviss, formed in 2002, who did several U.K. tours, headlining and supporting bands such as U.S. acts Stonesour, The Murderdolls, The Vandals and U.K acts Pitchshifter and Feeder.
