The Polar Opposites have been active since May 2009, when local bands Underwater Taxi and Serenity both split. Frustrated with a lack of direction in both bands, Hamish Will and Bob began jamming on a few songs, and the instant chemistry prompted the split of the former projects, and bringing in Cooper straightaway on bass completed the fresh, creative and energetic quartet.
