The Phil Session were a Swedish pop group with soul influences who never achived any success outside the living rooms of its founding members; Daniel Swedin and Martin Ståhl. Swedin and Ståhl founded the band in 2002 in Borlänge, Sweden, naming the band after the popular British radio show "John Peel Sessions" and Swedish radio show host Hasse Pihl. Phil was also the surname of legendary third band member, Phil Taxí, who the band claimed wrote their songs. The Phil Sessions disbanded in early 2004.
