Long time friends Neil Robinson (drums), Gary Crockett (bass), John Willmott (sax and flute), and legendary latin percussionist and band leader Snowboy formed The Perceptions to express their mutual love of the late-60's Funk Jazz sound of labels such as Prestige and Blue Note.
