Born on the 31st January 1952 in Portland, Oregon, bandleader Paul deLay ranked among the greatest blues harmonica players, songwritersb and vocalists. His work on the chromatic harp is considered by many to be unrivalled, and he was a three-time W.C. Handy Award nominee.
