"Softcore” is the fifth track on The Neighbourhood’s self-titled third studio album "The Neighbourhood". The track blends a punchy electronic beat with 80s new wave synths to create a catchy, bad-ass alternative pop song. The bridge brings back the familiar chords and guitar progression heard in the second half of “Wiped Out!,” the title track of their sophomore album. Notably, “Softcore” would regain popularity in 2022, with the track going viral on social media app TikTok.
