The Low Budgets are a punk rock band from Philadelphia. Their music is driven by the keyboards, a throwback to the days of early punk (i.e. early Blondie) and a unique aspect in modern punk. They sing mostly about living in a low-budget and low-income lifestyle, mostly with satirical or humorous lyrics. The band was formed by former Town Managers guitarist Chris Peelout and former Dead Milkmen guitarist/singer Joe Jack Talcum. They are still in their original lineup which includes: Chris Peelout - guitar/vocals Joe Jack Talcum - keyboards/vocals Dandrew Stevens - bass guitar Steve Please - drums
