Originally a solo project, The Liar Script came together in 2010, inspired by the the late 70s and early 80s post-punk movement (particularly out of the U.K.). Based in San Francisco, CA, the band combines elements of the genre with a more modern, almost noir sound, taking further influence from film as well as from literature. The lyrical themes often relate to the trials of city life and its personal interactions. Currently unsigned, the band is interested in promotion via label distribution and booking.
