The Hubies (Pronounced: "H-you-beez") formed in the spring of 2003 with Tommy Gun on guitar and vocals, Chubby McCarlson on drums and vocals, and Bubs McGruff on bass and vocals. But that's not where the history of this band starts. The origin of this band was a thriving music scene in the late 90's in a northern Michigan town called Alpena. Members of this band used to play in some old Alpena bands such as Switch 76, Nucid, Intertia's Fault, The Ex-Members, and Robbery In Progress.
