Formed at a Long Island party in 1965, the band that would later become The Glitterhouse featured vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Mike Gayle, vocalist/guitarist Hank Aberle, bassist/vocalist Alan Lax and added Mark 'Moogy' Klingman, future Utopia keyboardist, and Joel O'Brien, later to back such luminaries as Carole King and James Taylor, to the mix before recording their underrated pop-psychedelic debut album, "Color Blind," in 1968.
