The Giant Hogweed Orchestra was a finnish prog-band that was active from 2001 to 2003. 'Hogweed' released it's debut album through Italy in the beginning of ´03 via Mellow Records. The members were 17-19 -year-olds at the time of the recording in winter 2001. 80 per cent of the songs were improvised and recorded live in the studio. Band members: Antti Aalto : acoustic guitar, electric guitar Jaakko Kakko : drums, percussion Jyri Träskelin : flute Turo Sinkkonen : bass, piano Mika Muinonen : electric guitar
