The Geriatrics are a pop-punk band from Crystal Lake/Lake in the Hills, IL, who have opened for the likes of Flatfoot 56 and The Frantic. They were formed on October 1st, 2005. The current (and only) lineup is Ben Hjelmstead on bass and lead vocals, Matt Allen on guitar and backing vocals, and Dan Bretz on drums and backing vocals. Their first album, Shake, Shiver, Sweat, was released in 2007. They recently released their self-titled sophomore full-length, and as of 8/1/08 are on indefinite hiatus.
