The Fureys & Davey Arthur was an Irish traditional folk band formed in 1976 by the four Furray brothers (Finbar, Eddie, Paul, and George) and a family friend, Davey Arthur. After 1993, when Arthur no longer performed with them, the band name was simplified to The Fureys. In 1976, three of the Furey brothers, Finbar Furey, Eddie Furey, and Paul Furey (the latter having previously been in The Buskers with friend Davey Arthur) formed a folk group called Tam Linn.
