The Factory Band began as the praise & worship band at The Factory Festival, a youth-oriented Christias music festival in Tasmania Australia. Initially the band played covers of popular worship music from Hillsong United and Parachute band. Later they began writing their own original music, some of which was less worship-oriented but still spiritual in nature. The Factory Band changed their name to The Reign in 2005. The Factory band have supported such acts as Audio Adreniline, Relient K, Paul Colman Trio, The Lads, Parachute Band, Reuban Morgan, Antiskeptic and Rookie.
