The Excitement! started out as an acoustic solo project by Brad Kinkead (lead vocals) in January 2005 while Kinkead was still a freshman in high school. Over the next two years, Kinkead played the major tri-state area, gathering a devoted following and taking this time to perfect his song writing ability, and show the true potential of his voice.
