The Daunbeats were a garage punk band from Linköping, Sweden and existed approx. between 1996 and 1998. The original lineup consisted of Jonas Höglund, Johan Sahlin and Nordan. They started playing punk rock after attending a concert with local legends Idyls. Their biggest accomplishment were, sadly enough, opening for The Hives when they played in Linköping in early 1999. This was also The Daunbeats last gig as they had more or less disbanded a couple of months earlier.
