The DC-17s are the best damn punk band period. They formed in Portland Maine and have played with bands such as Norwood, Counter Productive, and Modern Syndrome. They play the pop-punk and also draw influences from Minor Threat, The Misfits, AFI, The Buzzcocks, and As Blood Runs Black. They have yet to release their much anticipated LP entitled "The DC-17s Break A Sweat". After only a few months of shows and promoting themselves in a total DIY manner, they have developed a cult following who call themselves Stormtroopers.
