The Burnin' Sands Biography May 17th, 2007 revised August 14th, 2010. By Dimitri Baloukov, Francois Maltais and Tyrell Johnman. The Burnin' Sands were born in March 2005 from the ashes of a previous project. The newly formed three-piece instrumental band combined the technical lead work of Francois Maltais on guitar with Dimitri Baloukov's driving bass lines and Tyrell Johnman's solid percussive work.
