The Border Blasters are Jimmy Ray Harrell and Todd Jagger, both long-time veterans of the Austin music scene now living in the borderlands of Far West Texas. Their music is characterized by close harmonies and bluesy acoustic instrumentation. Sort of like if The Delmore Brothers and Slim Harpo were part of Bob Wills' Texas Playboys.
