Michigan born, The Aquanettes are an original female surf rock trio formed in the summer of 2010 in a Ferndale basement by founding member Amber Doom. The Aquanettes set sail after recording a 3 song demo in the spring of 2011 in Royal Oak at the Soundscape Recording Studio. On June 2nd they played their first show at The Belmont Bar during its last days and attracted a full house with their unique raw sound and rich guitar tones that dreamily ring out .
