Ted Ansani was the bassist and back-up vocalist for the seminal 90s power pop group Material Issue. The Chicago-based band released four major label albums while touring extensively before its collapse due to frontman Jim Ellison's suicide. It has had a major influence in the power pop music scene. He has released one album so far, 'Throttles And Pistons', which has a similar music style to Material Issue.
