Tears to Embers, was started by two brothers Brandon and Matt Hicks in 2005 with fellow musician Mike Strunk. Originally known under another name they quickly changed to the Tears to Embers we know now. Through the first few years the band went through many members and met friends through other bands. In the summer of 2011 the band met drummer Frank West and the main 4 piece line up was born. The band started gaining traction and signed a development deal with MAKE Records in 2013.
