Tambourine was a sixties-influenced band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, active between 1987 and 1992. The band was formed by three musicians from the southern Netherlands: Saskia van Orly (ex-The Affair), Bart van Poppel (ex-Duplex Johnson) and Jac Bico (ex-Piu Piu). Their first single, 'Summer Of Love', became a radio staple in The Netherlands, with a record deal with Polydor as a result.
