The Road Cones were an English Metal-Punk band formed in Dudley in the Black Country in 1988 After several personnel changes during the first couple of years the band entered a period of stability from 1991 with their most well-known line-up of Gary Dickens, Aid Coleman, Dave Hadley and Steve Hanlon . This line-up solidified the musical direction of the band with Coleman’s heavy but catchy riffs and fluent solos and the Hadley/Hanlon driving rhythm section giving rise to a far more dynamic and heavier sound.
