SysRq, aka Alex McElroy, began producing music in early 2007. He has had an interest in music since he was 7 years old, and his new found love for trance and ambiance music inspired him to learn to produce it himself. Through this journey, he has discovered that writing music was his passion and that he wanted to do this for the rest of his life. Alex is entering his senior year in high school with hopes of attending the Baylor School of Music to study music composition. Currently, he is tutored in composition by Alan Aranas.
