There are multiple artists recording under the name Synopsis: 1) Progressive rock band founded in Tallinn, Estonia in 1977 by principal members Igor Garsnek (keyboards) and Nevil Blumberg (guitar). In 1980, a relatively stable lineup was formed, but after a year the band went on indefinite hiatus, and their early recorded material remains unreleased to this day. In 1984 Blumberg and Garsnek briefly revived the band, released a self-titled album in 1986. It was later reissued on CD by Czech/Russian label Boheme Records in 2000.
