Sweeping Promises is an American post-punk duo originally from Boston, Massachusetts, and later based in Lawrence, Kansas. The group consists of Lira Mondal and Caufield Schnug. Multi-instrumentalist Spenser Gralla has performed as their live drummer since 2019. The two musicians met during their undergraduate studies at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, in 2008.
